Cricket Week 2008

Saturday 19th July until Saturday 26th July .

This year Cricket Week starts on Friday 19th July and once again we plan to stage a full festival of cricket. This year we will once again be holding the Balcombe Cricket Club Six - A - Side Competition and to ensure that there is as much cricket as possible available to all club members on most days two matches have been arranged. Cricket Week concludes on 26th July with a League matchs versus the East Grinstead 3 & Smallfield.

As usual there will be a licensed bar at the ground for all those who would like to have a drink whilst watching the matches in progress and afterwards there will also be hot dogs, burgers and chips available. In addition, on most evenings there will be music supplied through the auspices of Multi Sounds Disco.

Saturday 26th July is this years B-B-Q night. There will be two spit roast pigs , spare ribs, beef burgers and hot dogs available. Once again Multi Sounds disco will provide the musical accompaniment. This year the B-B-Q starts at 7.30pm through to 11.45pm and tickets for that evening will be £6.00 for adults and £2.50 for children. Tickets give entrance to the ground, food and entertainment.
Finally a very BIG thank you to all those of you who supported last years Cricket Week and came to the B-B-Q. We all look forward to seeing you and your friends again this year.

Wed 23rd July: Balcombe v Sussex Farmers. Balcombe v Worth
Thurs 24th July: Balcombe Houghton v  Balcombe v Sussex Over 40 XI.
Fri 25th July: Balcombe v Tim Murrill's XI, Balcombe v Balcombe FC
Sat 26th July: Balcombe 1st XI v East Grinstead 3. League @ Home. 2.00pm.
Sat 26th July: Balcombe 2nd XI v Smallfield. League @ Home. 2.00pm.
